FreelanSync’25 was a transformative two-day workshop series held on April 5th and 6th, hosted at the Department of Statistics and Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya. The event was proudly organized by the Society of Industrial Relations & Entrepreneurship Development (SIRED) in collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the Faculty of Science.
The initiative was launched on February 11, 2025, with an exciting first phase that ignited enthusiasm among undergraduates, offering valuable insights into the freelance economy and its endless possibilities.
The second and final phases of FreelanSync’25 delved into three core focus areas — Graphic Design, Web Development, and Digital Marketing — equipping participants with in-demand skills essential for thriving in the global freelance market. With hands-on sessions led by industry experts, the event offered a practical and engaging learning experience.
