The Pre-Industry Day Workshop 2025, organized by SIRED at the Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS), University of Peradeniya, was successfully held on 12th July 2025 with the participation of over 80 enthusiastic undergraduates, marking a key milestone in preparing students for the professional world. The session was led by Ms. Nepa Wickramasinghe, whose insightful and engaging delivery guided participants through essential areas of career development, including personal branding, CV optimization, and interview mastery. Students gained practical strategies to craft impactful CVs, build a strong and professional personal brand, and confidently face interviews through real-world guidance and interactive discussions. The workshop created a dynamic learning environment that encouraged active participation, reflection, and growth, while also fostering meaningful peer interaction.
