Sciquest Challenge 2026

Designed to bridge science, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the Society for Industrial Relations and Entrepreneurship Development (SIRED) hosted the SciQuest Challenge ’26 on June 11, 2026. Tailored specifically for Batch S24 students of the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya, this competition served as a dynamic platform for emerging innovators to transform their creative ideas into impactful, real-world solutions. The event encouraged participants to harness their scientific knowledge, cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, and showcase their potential as the next generation of changemakers. 

Highlighting the journey of innovation from concept to execution, Phase 1 of the SciQuestChallenge ’26 brought together the brightest young minds to transform ambitious ideas into confident, actionable pitches. Hosted by SIRED for Batch S24 students, the opening phase showcased remarkable creativity, strategic thinking, and dedication from every participating team. The high-energy environment, seamless teamwork, and inspiring pitch presentations truly set the stage for the next wave of scientific entrepreneurs and changemakers at the Faculty of Science.
