සිප්පවුරු 2024 Phase I

Project සිප්පවුරු a seminar series initiated with the aim of improving the educational standards of students from rural areas was successfully concluded on 9th May. The seminar series took place on 9th and 10th may at the Tri/Thissa Maha Vidyalaya - Trincomalee . We sincerely thank all the members and other participants who supported us to successfully complete this venture. 

Tri/Thissa Maha Vidyalaya students in Trincomalee are now well equipped thanks to "Sip Pawuru".The project by the Society of Industrial Relations & Entrepreneurship Development gave students a helping hand just two months before their Ordinary Level exams. 2 days of Math seminars taught them the key areas they need to focus on to succeed. 

Now, they're feeling confident and ready to ace the exams!


The society gained invaluable experience in organizing educational interventions that directly address the needs of underprivileged communities. By collaborating with educators and understanding students' challenges, the society strengthened its capacity for planning, logistics, and resource management. Through this program, we were able to offer students personalized academic support, a sense of encouragement, and a platform to approach their studies with renewed motivation. Ultimately, initiatives like "Sip Pawuru" enable us to inspire and empower the younger generation, fostering a future-ready mindset among rural students. 

Our dedicated crew at the Society of Industrial Relations and Entrepreneurship Development is a passionate team of students and professionals committed to making a positive impact in society. United by a shared vision, we work collaboratively to design and implement meaningful projects, such as "Sip Pawuru," that empower communities and inspire the next generation to achieve their full potential. 

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Piyumali Perera, our Junior Treasurer and Advisor, for her unwavering support and guidance throughout the "Sip Pawuru 2024 Phase I" project. Her valuable insights, dedication, and encouragement played a pivotal role in shaping this initiative and ensuring its success.
